Welcome back my readers!
If you don’t remember the shocking events of the first part 1 of this story, let me tell you. Our story began with Munshi, a common man from a small town, who had a terrifying encounter on an empty road one evening. He was walking home when he realized that a terrifying spirit was following him. It was the terrifying spirit of a woman who was trying to take his life at the right time.
Munshi sought help from a wise priest, and the priest told him that, his family deity had prevented the witch from harming him. The priest understood that the witch had died tragically in the forest because she was very poor and hungry, and her restless spirit had been troubling travelers ever since. But because of Munshi’s family deity, her spirit was now free, and he finally felt peace. The priest encouraged Munshi to thank the family deity who protected his family and to remain fearless. And now we move forward with part 2 of our story…
Munshi came home feeling grateful to his family deity.
He respected what the priest said and felt a sense of relief that he had not felt for years. He duly worshipped the family deity and went about his life happily. Many years passed and life turned into a satisfying routine. However, somewhere deep inside, Munshi could not forget that dreadful night and the encounter with the witch in the forest. One night, when Munshi was sitting near the fire with his family,

he saw his son Rahul looking out of the window. “Rahul, what are you looking at outside son?” he asked tenderly. He went up to him, his eyes The wide with fear. “Dad, I always see a woman at the edge of the forest. She looks very sad, and sometimes, I think she is calling for help.” Munshi’s blood ran cold. Could it ever bethat the witch's soul did not get liberation even after the family deity was burnt that night? Not being able to protect his family always, Munshi decided to seek guidance from the priest. The next morning he again went to the temple to meet the priest. Munshi listened carefully to Rahul and talked to the priest about the witch's return. The priest said, "Munshi, it seems that the witch's soul has not decided to move on after being completely free from her sufferings. There may be some deficiency that keeps her tied to this world."
The priest gave the Munshi an extraordinary amulet and told him to place it at the edge of the forest.

"It will protect your family from any evilspirits," he said. "However, in order to free the witch's spirit and help her, you must uncover and solve the truth of her past." The Munshi followed the priest's advice and set out to find out the truth about the witch's life, seeking the help of his city friends, unearthing stories and legends. He found that the witch, whose name was Lila, was a forgiving woman who lived in the city a long time ago. Disaster struck her life when her husband died in an accident, leaving her helpless. She tried to find work in the city to run herhousehold and earn a living, but the people of the city held Leela responsible for her husband's death. They considered her an unlucky witch. Hence, no one in the city helped her. Tired of all this, Leela left the city and came to the forest and started living there in a hut, where she finally succumbed to hunger and poverty. And she died there. Her body lay there for a few days. One day, some cowherds saw her body in the forest and buried it there, thinking it to be unclaimed and left from there. When Munshi came to know about Leela's story, he was very sad. He felt sympathy for Leela. Along with his son Rahul, driven by a sense of responsibility and compassion, Munshi set out into the forest with food and water. He proceeded towards where Rahul had seen the woman (Leela's spirit) and called out, "Leela, we have come here to help you, please guide me compassionately."
As Rahul called out, a sad, ghostly figure appeared from the shadows.
