Beginning of the story

As the morning light touched the earth, golden rays painted a soft rainbow across the horizon, adding a breathtaking charm to the world below. The earth seemed to glow in that golden embrace, as if nature itself was celebrating a quiet, magical moment.

The morning scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The golden sunlight shone on the snow-covered streets, giving the world a magical glow. Danny Dex, dressed in a plush winter jacket, stepped out of his house and got into his luxury car, taking off his jacket as he got into the car- a gleaming machine that came alive with a soft roar. He turned on the radio, and as if on cue, his favorite song began to play. A smile spread across his face. With the music blaring in the cabin and the cool breeze hitting the windows, Danny drove off into the winter wonderland, feeling light, free, and content. Everything felt perfect. At least, for now.

Today was going to be a very special day for Danny. It was a crisp December morning, and the festive spirit of Christmas danced through the air. Streets were blanketed in soft white snow, and colorful lights twinkled from every corner. The quiet hum of snowplows echoed as special vehicles worked hard to clear the roads, their flashing lights slicing through the winter fog. Within moments, the road was cleared, looking like a clean canvas awaiting adventure. Danny shifted gears, pressed down on the accelerator, and the car surged forward, slicing through the cold like a bullet. The icy wind whipped past the windows, but he didn’t care. His mind was elsewhere ,filled with excitement, anticipation, and the weight of something important. Today wasn’t just any day. It was the day. The car speed faster and faster. Danny was deep in thought, staring straight ahead, when suddenly - the calm was shattered by a sharp, urgent emergency news tune on the radio.

Public Service Announcement:

“Due to heavy snowfall, please stay indoors for your safety!”
The sudden announcement crackled through the radio, snapping Danny out of his peaceful drive.
His face twisted in frustration.
“Oh, come on! My bad luck! I was finally going to have some fun today - and now the weather decides to ruin everything?” he muttered, banging the steering wheel lightly.
Still determined not to let the day go to waste, Danny continued driving. The road grew quieter, and the snow thicker, as he made his way toward a scenic mountain route. Eventually, he reached a narrow tunnel - but his heart sank.
The tunnel was completely blocked with snow.
He brought the car to a halt and honked a few times, hoping maybe someone else was already clearing it. Nothing. Silence. He sighed, turned off the engine, and looked out the frosted window…

That’s when he saw it.
Out of the misty whiteness, a massive snow bear came charging straight toward him!
Danny's eyes widened in horror.
He fumbled to close the window and quickly ducked down in his seat, trying to hide. The bear reached the car in moments, its heavy footsteps shaking the ground. It circled the vehicle, sniffing and growling. Then -
BAM!
It slammed its massive paws down on the bonnet with a loud thud that echoed through the frozen air.

Danny was frozen with fear.
He reached for the glove compartment and frantically searched inside: but his heart sank again.
-No pistol.-
“I can’t believe I left it at home! God..what do I do now?” he whispered, his breath fogging the window.
He turned to glance behind him - the entire road was buried under a thick blanket of snow. There was no turning back.
Swallowing hard, Danny took a deep breath, gripped the steering wheel with trembling hands, and gathered his courage.
He started the engine.

But something was wrong.
Danny’s hands gripped the steering wheel tighter. He pressed the accelerator again. The engine growled, the tires spun, but the car wouldn’t budge.
The wheels were just skidding in place, stuck in the snow.
Panic started to rise in his chest. He slammed the brakes, then turned off the engine and looked straight ahead.
And froze.
The snow bear… was laughing.
It wasn’t a growl. It wasn’t a roar.
It was a chuckle - deep, chilling, almost playful.
The creature walked calmly toward Danny’s side window. With his long, sharp claws, he tapped the glass gently:
Tap… Tap… Tap…!

Then, in a low, gravelly voice that shook Danny to his core, the bear said:
“Can I come in?”
Danny’s heart skipped a beat.
A bear… talking?
His mouth went dry. For a few seconds, he just sat frozen, eyes wide, unable to process what he’d just heard.
Then the bear leaned a little closer, his glowing eyes fixed on Danny.
“Hello, Danny! I’m talking to you. Can I come in?”
He paused, then smirked.
“Oh yes, that’s right - you’re a human. You’ve never seen a bear talk like this before, huh?”

Danny blinked rapidly, still crouched slightly behind the dashboard. His voice, when it finally came out, was a shaky whisper.
“How… how do you know my name? Have we… met before? Am I… dreaming?”
The snow bear grinned, revealing rows of gleaming white teeth.
“No!” he said with a booming laugh.
“This is the first time we’re meeting. Get that dream idea out of your head - this is real. Very real.”
Danny swallowed hard. His fear was still there, but somehow the bear’s tone wasn’t threatening… at least, not yet.
He slowly sat upright and asked, “Then… what do you want from me?”

The snow bear gave a thoughtful nod.
“Fair question. Thousands of vehicles pass through this mountain road every day,” he said.
“But no one ever honks the horn here.”
He took a step back, eyes narrowing.
“You… you are the first one who dared to blow the horn. And guess what? Your horn woke me up. I live just beyond that hill, in a quiet cave where I sleep through most of the winter.”
Danny stared at him, stunned.
The bear’s voice softened.
“So tell me, Danny… are you in some kind of trouble? Or… are you heading somewhere important?”

This time, Danny felt a strange sense of calm.

The bear’s voice had an odd warmth to it- not threatening, not hostile, almost… gentle.
Still, his instincts told him to be cautious.
He took a deep breath and asked, his voice low but steady,
"But... you haven’t even told me your name. And how do you know me?”
The snow bear rolled his eyes playfully and gave a soft chuckle.
"Oh come on, Danny. You’re doubting me already?”
He crossed his massive arms like a scolded parent.
"I don’t usually talk this much to humans - actually, I don’t talk to them at all. But you... you’re different. Special.”
Danny raised an eyebrow.

“Special? How?”
The bear leaned a little closer and replied,
"That’s a long story, and it's not meant to be told out here in the cold. Now listen - if you’re not in a hurry, I have a warm home on the other side of the hill. You can stay there until the storm passes. No pressure, but I’m inviting you because I trust you.”
Danny’s mind spiraled.
"Trust? But why does he trust me? I barely trust him!"
His thoughts ran wild.
Can I really trust this creature? What if he lures me to his cave and kills me?
I’ve heard stories - when a bear is woken up from its winter sleep, it can become deadly. furious, uncontrollable.
Maybe honking the horn was a terrible mistake..! Maybe I’ve invited my own end.
He stared at the bear, whose eyes now looked calm and curious - as if genuinely waiting for an answer, not forcing one.
A snowstorm had begun again outside.
The wind howled. The snow swirled like ghosts in the air.
And Danny knew - staying inside the car wasn’t safe for long.

The bear looked at Danny quietly, sensing the fear in his eyes. With a gentle sigh, he said in a firm yet comforting tone,

A-mystical-snow-bear-named-Lee-Panda-offers-help-to-a-scared-young-man-David-in-a-heavy-snowstorm.webp

"Danny… I know you’re scared. I can feel it. But maybe you’re forgetting something important. If you don’t trust me, you’ll freeze to death in this storm. No one’s coming to rescue you. Not today. Not in this weather. But if you come with me… to my home… there’s a chance you’ll survive. You have a choice - and you must make it now. I won’t force you.” He turned slowly, snow crunching beneath his paws. “I was sent here to help you. And by the way, my name is Lee Panda. It’s nice to meet you, Danny.”

Danny blinked.

"Lee Panda? That’s... a strange name for a snow bear. And if I do come with you, how can I be sure you won’t harm me?” His voice trembled slightly. “And this person who sent you… who is he? I need answers, or I’m not stepping out of this car.” Lee Panda turned back, a knowing smile playing on his face. He bent down, brought his face close to the window, and said softly: “You had a dream last night, didn’t you?” Danny’s eyes widened.“A dream… yes.” Lee nodded slowly.

A dream so real, it pulled you out of your warm bed. and into this cold, white world. That dream… was a calling. The person you saw in it - they’re real, and they’re waiting for you.” Danny's heart raced. His mind flashed back to the vivid dream, the mysterious figure in the mist, the voice calling his name, the snowy path that led into the unknown. And now... the same path stood before him. Real. Alive. His chest swelled with a strange, almost childlike joy. On Christmas… a miracle? Could it really be happening? “Alright,” Danny said, stepping out of the car and facing Lee. “I’ll come with you. But promise me one thing - you won’t hurt me.”

The bear gently extended a large paw.

“I promise, Danny. No harm will come to you.” His eyes glowed with a quiet sincerity. “Now come. The snow is getting heavier, and your journey is just beginning.” Together, they walked into the white wilderness - one man, one magical bear, toward a destiny written in dreams.

02: Danny goes to the snow bear's (lee panda) house

Danny got out of his car in fear, the bear looked at him strangely and said "Danny, hurry up, the snowfall is going to increase, we have to reach my house as soon as possible" Danny started walking towards the bear's house. The path was very difficult and he narrowly escaped slipping and falling down the snowy hills many times. The bear took him to a deserted cave made of snow. Upon arriving there, Lee Panda said, "This is my house, how do you like it?"
Danny said, "Your house is very beautiful! Do you live here alone?" Lee Panda said, "No, someone else also lives here with me!" Saying this he opened the door of his house, both of them started going inside, the scene there was telling a different story, to dispel the darkness of the house there were some glass bottles filled with fireflies which were hanging from the snow walls.

What was surprising was that Lee Panda's house seemed very large, with living space and things that a normal person would hardly have. Danny asked the lee panda, "How did you manage all this in this jungle, with no city nearby? How did you do all this?"  Lee Panda said, "It's okay. I don't have to do all that. Whatever I need, I just tell the person staying with me. He gives me what I need in just a few moments. Would you like to meet that person?" Danny said, "Yeah, sure, why not!"
"Okay!" Saying this, Lee Panda opened a big door to a room. Inside he saw a mysterious man sitting on a velvet sofa. His attire looked like that of a tyrant king from an old century.

As Danny saw the man,

He immediately remembered the scene of his dream where he saw a mysterious room...and that mysterious man with exactly the same clothes and same face welcomed Danny very warmly and said "Welcome Danny! Tell me, did you have any trouble coming here?"
"Thanks! I'm fine, but I saw you in my dreams last night," Danny said. The mysterious man introduced himself and said, "Yes!, we met in your dream and I have called you here, you can call me Nexor!"
Danny found the man's name a bit strange but he didn't want someone to get angry if he asked about his name, so he said, "I'm glad to meet you Nexor!"

Hospitality of Nexor

To welcome Danny, Nexor offered him a glowing blue elixir, shimmering with a strange, divine light. The moment Danny took a sip, a cool, tingling sensation spread across his tongue.
"Wow..!" he whispered.
He had never tasted anything like it in his life sweet yet powerful, like a blend of icy mint, warm honey, and something otherworldly.
For a moment, he felt lighter. as if his worries had melted away.
The drink pulsed with warmth inside him, awakening something deep within.
“What is this?” Danny asked in amazement.
Nexor smiled gently.
“It’s called Lunaria Essence. Only a few are ever blessed to taste it. and you, Danny, are one of them.”
Nexor-welcomes-David-and-Lee-Panda-with-a-magical-blue-drink-in-a-glowing-crystal-chamber.webp
After savoring the divine drink for a while, Danny finally asked, “So… why did you call me here? Is there a special reason?”
Nexor leaned forward, his glowing eyes softening.
“Yes, Danny. There is a reason,” he said calmly. “From this hidden sanctuary, I observe the world… under the guidance of Santa Claus himself.”

Danny’s eyes widened.
Nexor continued, “Throughout the year, I watch over people, both kind and cruel. Those with pure hearts, who help others selflessly, are chosen. honored with an invitation to this realm. And you, Danny, are one of them. You gave without expecting anything in return. You lifted others without knowing they were watching. That’s why Santa chose you.”
Danny was taken aback. The idea that someone had been watching his actions all along, judging them, was surreal. But before he could respond, a loud knock shattered the moment.

Bang! Bang!
A voice from behind the door echoed desperately:
“Can I come in? Please… open the door!”
Danny flinched.
Nexor and Lee Panda immediately froze. Their cheerful expressions faded into concern. Nexor gave a sharp nod to Lee Panda to open the door- but Lee backed away, shaking his head.

“I… I can’t,” whispered Lee Panda. “It’s him…”
Nexor sighed and slowly walked to the door himself. Danny, meanwhile, was silently observing their tense expressions. He couldn’t understand why even magical beings like them were so reluctant to open the door.
Then - CRASH!
Before Nexor could even touch the latch, something from the other side kicked it violently. The door burst open with a deafening sound, like the roar of a tormented soul finally breaking free after centuries of silence. A gust of icy wind filled the room, and for a moment, everything stood still.

In the doorway stood a tall figure, cloaked in blinding white light. But it wasn’t peaceful - it was seething, wild.
In his hand, he held a soul twisted, blackened, writhing like smoke trapped in a bottle. The figure struggled to contain it, while the evil spirit inside thrashed and screamed, trying to escape.
Danny’s breath caught in his throat.
Nexor clenched his fists. “It’s begun,” he whispered. Lee Panda’s eyes were wide with fear. “That’s… one of the Banished Ones.”

Identification of unknown person

Nexor staggered to his feet, blood dripping from a deep gash on his forehead. He groaned in pain, clutching the wound.
Lee Panda, who had remained frozen in fear, was now visibly trembling in the corner.
Danny stood motionless, wide-eyed, as he tried to comprehend the figure that had just entered the room. The tall figure took slow, deliberate steps inside. With each footfall, a wave of unnatural cold spread across the floor. A foul stench filled the air - a mix of rotting flesh and burnt wood, like the scent of a long-forgotten crypt being opened for the first time in centuries.
Danny covered his nose instinctively. His heart pounded. The figure's appearance was both majestic and terrifying. At first glance, he resembled Santa Claus - but not the jolly, red-cheeked version known to the world.
This was something else.. something darker.

He was at least eight feet tall, with a broad, armor-like chest wrapped in a shredded crimson cloak. His arms were metallic, shining like steel, but scarred from countless battles. His face resembled a zombie, half-decayed yet alive, with glowing red eyes that pierced through the room like daggers. Snow clung to his thick white beard, and his boots left steaming imprints on the icy floor.
And in his massive hand..! ,,was a demonic soul, writhing like a trapped serpent, contained in a swirling, glass-like orb. The soul let out high-pitched shrieks, clawing at the inside of its prison like a wild animal desperate to escape.
As the terrifying being entered fully, Nexor and Lee Panda immediately knelt down with reverence and fear.
“Welcome, my lord,” Nexor said, bowing low despite his injury.
Lee Panda echoed, “How can we be of service to you?”

The mysterious figure stepped into the room, his presence still radiating an eerie energy. His eyes scanned everyone, then rested on Danny.
In a deep, authoritative voice, he asked,
"Who is this man? And who brought him into my realm?"
Lee Panda immediately stepped forward, bowed slightly, and spoke with calm respect,
"My Lord, I am the one who brought him here. His name is Danny - a noble-hearted human. His car got stuck in the snowstorm, and I found him alone in the blizzard. He was calling for help. As per your command, I brought him here. Perhaps you do not recall, but he is the one you had chosen."
The man paused. For a moment, silence filled the room. Then his intense gaze softened, and a faint smile crept across his rugged face. "Ah... yes. Now I remember."
He stepped closer to Danny, his voice warming. "You’re Danny - the generous soul who helped rebuild the shelter for the homeless, the one who never turned away those in need. Yes, you are the one I was told about."

With a slow, steady motion, he extended his powerful, steel-like hand toward Danny.
"I am Santa Jacob - the guardian of this hidden world. And yes, you’ve already met Nexor and Lee Panda, my trusted companions."
Danny became suspicious of the sudden change in the behavior of that giant man. His gait, his smile - there was something strange. But he composed himself and said in a low voice, "Why have you called me here? Have I made a mistake?" There was restraint in his voice, but a storm of questions was clearly visible in his eyes.
Danny’s heart pounded as he felt the cold grip of Santa Jacob’s steel hand. The dim light shimmered off his metallic arms while the trapped demon soul flickered like a dying flame in his grasp. Before Danny could speak further, Santa Jacob gently withdrew his hand, his expression shifting from Sinister calm to something unexpectedly… sincere.

“Danny,” he said in a deeper, more human tone, “I know how this all must look to you. The smell, the darkness, the soul in my hand… it all screams danger. But listen to me carefully- you have nothing to fear from me.” Danny narrowed his eyes. “Then. why am I here?” Jacob took a step closer. The demon soul whimpered as if reacting to the truth that was about to unfold. “I brought you here for one reason only. to save your life.” Danny’s eyes widened. Jacob continued, “You see those two? Nexor and Lee Panda? They bow to me not out of respect. but out of fear. For centuries, they have walked this cursed realm, feeding on the pure - people like you, Danny.” Danny turned slightly to glance at Nexor and Lee Panda. They stood silently, faces expressionless. but a strange tension rippled in the air.

Jacob raised the flickering soul in his hand. “This... was a man once. Just like you- noble, generous, full of light. They lured him here under false pretenses, drained him of life, and imprisoned his soul to amplify their powers.” Danny’s voice trembled slightly, “Then… you saved him?”
“I tried,” Jacob said with a heavy breath. “I arrived too late to save his body, but I freed his soul from their grip. It still suffers… but it's no longer under their control.” Danny took a step back. “But.. why me?” Jacob looked straight into his eyes, “Because they’ve chosen you next.  The snowstorm? The broken car? All of it was orchestrated. Lee Panda led you here, just like he’s done with others before. They needed a soul strong enough to sustain their hunger.. and your heart, Danny, is one of the strongest I’ve seen.” A sudden flicker of guilt crossed Lee Panda’s face. Nexor’s fists clenched. Jacob turned to them and growled, “Don’t even try to deny it. I warned you both- if you cross the line again, I will tear your cursed bond apart.” Danny staggered slightly, overwhelmed.  “So… I’m just bait to them?” “Yes,” Jacob said softly. “But not anymore. As long as you’re under this roof, I will not let any harm come to you. But you must decide- will you trust me… or will you trust them?”  A heavy silence filled the room. Outside, the wind howled louder… but inside, it was Danny’s heart that made the most noise..!

Outside, the snowstorm raged with newfound fury. Inside the dim wooden cabin, silence gripped the room like ice on skin. Danny looked at each of them—Lee Panda, with guilt-shadowed eyes; Nexor, whose rage simmered just beneath his skin; and Jacob, calm yet fierce, a protector cloaked in pain.

“You used me,” Danny muttered, his voice hoarse. “You let me believe this was all an accident… the snow, the car, the talking bear… even the way I got here.” Lee took a step forward, but Jacob held up a hand.
“Let him speak.” Danny clenched his jaw, his eyes now locked onto Nexor’s. “You needed my soul. You wanted my heart... because it’s strong enough to feed your hunger.” Nexor didn’t deny it. Instead, he looked away.
Danny turned to Jacob. “And you... you claim to protect me. But you’ve been part of this too, haven’t you? Maybe not willingly, but still…” Jacob nodded slowly. “Once. A long time ago. But I’ve been trying to stop it ever since.” Danny walked toward the center of the room, heart thundering. “Then here’s my decision…” He paused. Everyone leaned in.
“I choose none of you.” Gasps. “I won’t be your bait, or your protector’s prize. If my soul is that valuable, then I’ll use it my way—to break this cursed cycle.” With those words, Danny reached into the fireplace, grabbed the ancient snow-marked pendant that had been glowing faintly since his arrival, and crushed it in his fist. A surge of energy exploded around the cabin—snow reversed outside the windows, howls turned into silence, and a strange warmth filled the air. Nexor screamed, Lee fell to his knees, and Jacob's eyes widened in astonishment.
“What… what have you done?” Jacob whispered. Danny opened his hand—nothing but ash remained. “I set myself free.”

The Price of Freedom

Then Danny came out of that illusory palace with Jacob with a heavy heart. The snowy weather outside had now calmed down, but the storm in Danny's mind had not yet calmed down. Every step forward felt like walking away from a part of himself — a version of him that once believed in wonder without consequence.

Jacob gently put his hand on Danny’s shoulder and said, "Don’t be sad, my friend. You’re out of danger now." Then, Jacob reached into the deep fold of his cloak and pulled out a small, worn-out album book. Its leather cover was cracked from age and cold. He handed it to Danny with a grim expression. "These… are the faces of those who were not so lucky. People who fell into Lee Panda’s trap — and never returned."
Danny’s hands trembled as he flipped through the album.
Each page held a soul — smiling faces, families, children, people who once had dreams, all swallowed by the same illusion he barely escaped.
Some pages were stained with snow, some with something darker — perhaps guilt.
“Why me?” Danny finally asked, his voice hoarse.

Jacob looked into the distance, where the mountains vanished into the white horizon.
“Because your heart resisted. You saw through the mask. And you said no.” Just then, a faint blue light glowed at the edge of the snowy trail. Danny turned — it was Lee Panda, not in his monstrous form, but in his innocent, playful disguise, smiling from afar. “He’s still watching?” Jacob nodded, his jaw tightening.
“He always does. The illusion never dies… it just waits.” Danny closed the album and handed it back.
“Then I need to make sure no one else ends up in this book.” Jacob smiled — a rare, sad kind of pride shining in his eyes.
“That’s the real price of freedom, Danny. You carry others with you now.” As they walked down the icy path together, Danny knew — his journey wasn't over.
The palace may have vanished, but the echoes remained. And somewhere in the shadows, Lee Panda whispered… “Let’s play again… someday.”

The Precious Gift from Santa Jacob to Danny

For a moment, a deep silence lingered between the two. Jacob asked, “Well, if you want, I can walk you to your car.” Danny smiled and said, “Sure, let’s go. We can talk more along the way.” As they walked, Jacob asked, “By the way, where were you headed on this Christmas day?” Danny replied with a hint of sadness, “I had a date with a girl today. I was happy… thinking I might finally meet my life partner. But now, it’s too late.” “I’m sorry to hear that, Danny… that you couldn’t meet her,” Jacob said sincerely.
Danny simply smiled in response.
They reached the car. The snow around had melted. The sky was clear, the road was open, and the snow atop the tunnel had also disappeared. Just as Danny was about to get into his car, Jacob spoke again, “Danny, I have a little Christmas surprise for you.” He handed Danny an old, mysterious, royal-looking box and said, “Make sure you open this before you leave.” After Jacob walked away, Danny curiously opened the gift box. Inside, he found a beautiful photo of a girl, a diamond-studded gold ring, and a phone number—belonging to the same girl he was supposed to meet today!

Just as Danny held the mysterious gift in his hands, he looked up—and to his astonishment, he saw Jacob again.
But this time... he wasn’t the same gentle man he had just spoken with.
From a distance, Jacob’s figure shimmered and transformed—his eyes glowed faintly, a soft aura surrounded him, and his presence felt... otherworldly. His face held a kind smile, but it was now clear: Jacob wasn’t just an ordinary man. He was Santa Jacob—the magical one, perhaps something more ancient and mysterious than Danny could understand. In his deep yet warm voice, Jacob called out from afar,
“Liked the gift, didn’t you, Danny?”
“Go… she’ll be waiting exactly where you were meant to meet her today.”
“Say hello to her for me.”
“Best of luck!” He paused, smiled once more, and with a glimmer in his eyes, added:
“We’ll meet again next year, Danny—same day, with a brand-new gift!” And just like that, Jacob disappeared into the shimmering snowfall, leaving behind warmth, wonder, and a memory Danny would never forget.

The Enchanted Meeting

Danny's heart was pounding. In his hands, he still held the box—with the girl’s photograph, the diamond-studded ring, and her phone number. His mind was racing with questions: Is this real? Will she really be there? Was all of this just a dream? But somewhere deep inside, a strange faith had awakened—faith in Santa Jacob, in the magic… and in a love destiny had silently prepared for him. Without wasting time, Danny got into his car and drove straight to the restaurant where his date was originally planned. The roads were clear now, the snow had melted, and the path ahead was completely open—almost as if the universe itself wanted him to make it on time. As he approached the restaurant, his heart raced even faster.

And then… a miracle.

There, by the window, at a small table, sat the same girl. Wearing a soft pink sweater, looking a little nervous—but with hopeful eyes.nDanny stood still for a moment, just watching her. Then, slowly, he walked in.
The girl looked up—and her eyes lit up the moment she saw him. “Danny?” she asked, as if still unsure if this was real. “Yes… and you are…!”

“Alissa.” she replied with a gentle smile. Danny softly placed the mysterious box on the table in front of her. “This is for you… from Santa Jacob.” Alissa opened it with curiosity, and as she saw her own photograph, the ring, and her phone number inside—her eyes welled up with tears. “How… how is this even possible?” she whispered. Danny chuckled softly, “It’s a long story… but all I know is—on this Christmas day, I received the most precious gift of my life.”
