Hello! Friends, today I present to you a hair-raising story from a place in Pakistan, a story which is based on a true incident and will give you goosebumps.
The “Mohtta Regal Palace” located in Karachi, Pakistan is a magnificent palace. Built in the 1920s, this magnificent palace was once the home of a rich man Shivratan Chandraratan Mohtta. Of course, this royal palace is a marvel of designing, but behind its splendor lies a hazy and sordid past.
Long ago, after the partition of India and,
Zainab was known for her beauty and her youth, but she never boasted about her beauty. She was originally in love with a jovial man named Hamid, who was a servant in Zainab's house. There were some obstacles in their love, and they knew that her family would never accept it. Whatever the conditions, they regularly met each other in many rooms and sections of the palace.
One night when they were meeting in the basement, a surprising tornado hit. The winds were blowing very fast, and the storm surge was hitting the walls of the luxurious house. Unexpectedly, the storm surge blocked the basement door, trapping Zainab and Hamid inside. Their screaming prompted some people to try and get them out, but the door would not open. As the water rose, the basement started to fill up with water, and panic spread among the people there.
Hamid tried to open the door in an attempt
to save Zainab, but he could not. The water rise too high and both of them started suffocating, and because of this both of them died a painful death on the spot, but surprisingly, their bodies were never found by anyone............
Since that evening, the Mohatta Royal
Residence is haunted by the spirits of Zainab and Hamid. Restaurant owners and observers have reported hearing murmurs and, surprisingly, scary ghostly voices. A beautiful young woman, dressed in a sari, was seen wandering around the exhibition late in the evening. Some have heard the sound of a man screaming and calling for his girlfriend.
The place where the young lovers breathed their last is considered the scariest part of the royal residence. Those who have been there more than once report feeling a sense of fear, as if they are being watched. Some have even felt that those basements are being touched by cold hands and trying to pull them down into the darkness.
Even today, the Mohatta Palace is one of the first haunted places in Pakistan. The tragic love story of Zainab and Hamid is a terrifying reminder of the palace's dark past, and their restless souls are forever bound to its halls because of their unfulfilled love and untimely death."I hope you enjoyed this story, my dear reader. Until next time, stay safe and beware of the scary shadows!" Best wishes....Read more story
